Aprisa XE Software

Summary

APRISA XE is the flexible, functional answer to the low/medium capacity challenges in today’s wireless networks. Easy to use and customer configurable, Aprisa XE provides solutions from simple trunking applications to complete complex network designs.

APRISA XE is built small and powerful, with eight interface slots and up to 16 Mbps of capacity – ideal for use in busy network sites where vertical rack space is limited.

Overview

SuperVisor™ allows our Aprisa™ XE radios to be managed and monitored from remote locations across a WAN, enabling technicians to diagnose and evaluate performance issues before going into the field.

The graphical user interface of SuperVisor makes it easy to configure the radio frequency, interface and cross-connect parameters, and add site documentation details. Full-range performance monitoring information is displayed to allow antenna alignment, link commissioning and ongoing monitoring without the need for external test equipment. The local-remote feature allows the whole link to be viewed and monitored at one time.

A comprehensive range of alarms is provided to aid link diagnosis. These alarms can also be used to trigger major and minor relay output events for external monitoring.

Terminal Home Page

Terminal Home page
This page allows a user with a simple web browser to set and view the radio settings and TCP-IP management information.

Link Manager

This Java™ enabled application enables viewing and configuration of the link parameters including interface card and radio settings, and alarm management. Users may interrogate local or remote terminals on a link or terminal basis. Link Manager may be launched from the Home page or from within the Net Manager.

Net Manager

Launched from the Home page, this Java™ application provides a view of the terminals defined in an Aprisa XE network. The view is shown as a hierarchically structured network tree, and can be expanded or collapsed to aid navigation. Information on the terminal configurations may be viewed by selecting a specific element. The links and terminals are individually managed and configured by launching Link Manager from a selected branch within the network tree.
