The Micom Vocoder provides the most reliable solution for voice, data, and E-mail gateway communications over HF. It’s designed to solve the traditional voice quality problem of radio communication especially in HF-SSB links. The Vocoder digitizes transmitted voice communications thus reducing background noises and providing crystal clear communications. There is also a digital voice encryption option using AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) algorithm available. The embedded E-mail gateway software guarantees a seamless end-to-end data transfer over HF-SSB. It also connects HF user’s PC to non-HF internet-user’s PC through the internet in a transparent manner.

The Micom-Tel automatic telephone interconnect via PABX/PSTN for use with ALE only. Enhances long distance communications, via HF link or land line to any remote site. Offers the capability to connect the Micom radio to telephone PABX networks. Using a Micom radio, any remote HF station (fixed and/or mobile) can be easily interconnected to a land telephone or mobile/cellular phone. The Micom fixed station appears as an extension number within the PABX system. Front panel dialing of that number from the Micom will grant access to the public switched telephone network for incoming radio calls, while dialing from within the PABX system will get access to the HF/SSB system for outgoing calls to mobile radios and other fixed stations. Micom Power Supply

Part # FPN5590

The Micom FPN5590 automatic switching power supply is designed for use with all Micom Series HF/SSB radios. It provides 110V AC 60Hz, 220V AC 50Hz and 12V DC power charging with automatic sensing. The output power is provided with two sets of terminals of 5 Amps for low and 25 Amps for high transmission current supply. In addition, electric noise generation is mitigated through advanced designed filtering and shielding.
