The Micom-RM500R HF-SSB is a 500 Watt Continuous duty transceiver integrated into a Ruggedized, 19Ħħ, 6RU, Rack-Mount configuration. The system is comprised of the Micom 3 Ranger, a 500W amplifier, an auto-sensing AC power supply, cooling fans and a multiple accessory interface junction box. The Micom-RM500R is a DSP controlled Radio with embedded ALE certified by JITC. It is fully compliant with FED-STD 1045 and MIL STD 188/141B and meets the MIL 810 STD (Dust, Shock, Vibration, Rain, Salt & Fog). The Radio supports Voice, data, e-mail and fax applications. It is designed to operate under tough environmental and physical conditions. The System can operate in a variety of configurations; rack-mounted, desktop unit, or for greater flexibility, it can be configured as a mobile unit (Optional shock mounts required).
